Pricing

One price. Everything in it. No tiers, no upsells.

Everything the course contains is listed once below, because every plan opens all of it. Nothing is held back for a higher tier and there is nothing to compare line by line — the only decision is how long you keep it, and the cheapest plan is the same product as the dearest one.

Everything below is in every plan There is no higher tier. The only thing that changes is how long you keep it.

15 days. Full refund. No questions asked.

Every plan, including the twelve-month one, is refundable in full for fifteen days from your first payment — the whole amount, not a pro-rated share of it. You do not have to have finished anything, you do not have to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. Ask from your account page and we process it the same working day.

What the same money buys elsewhere

Published rates, so you can check them.

OptionTypical published costWhat you get for it
Private SAT tutor$80–$200 an hourOne hour of someone's attention. Ten sessions is $800–$2,000 and ten hours of work.
Classroom course$900–$1,800Eighteen to thirty hours on a fixed schedule, paced for the middle of the room.
Bootcamp or intensive$1,500–$4,000A compressed fortnight, usually in a summer the student had other plans for.
This course, 3 months$117 onceThe whole method, available every evening for a season, with every explanation written down.

Tutoring is not a waste of money — a good tutor is the best thing available if you can afford one and find one. The argument here is narrower: almost none of what a tutor does in an hour is the reasoning behind a question, because reasoning can be written down once and read a hundred times. That part should not cost $150 an hour, and here it does not.

02

Questions about the money

Asked before anyone pays, so answered here.

Is there a free version?

The diagnostic is free — 27 questions, about 35 minutes, no payment and no card. It asks you to create a free account first, for one reason: it returns a per-skill report rather than a score, and that report is worth nothing if it vanishes when you close the tab. It is deliberately the most useful free thing we could give away, because it tells you what is actually costing you points whether or not you ever pay us.

Why is the monthly plan the dearest per month?

Because a month is not long enough for the method to do its work, and we would rather price that honestly than pretend otherwise. Ten to sixteen weeks is what most students need; the three-month plan is $39 a month for exactly that reason, and the twelve-month is $19.

What happens when a plan ends?

Access stops and nothing is deleted. Your error log, your plan and your whole history are kept, so renewing a year later picks up exactly where you left off rather than starting you over.

Does it renew automatically?

The monthly plan renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel in two clicks from your account. The 3, 6 and 12-month plans do not auto-renew at all — they are charged once and then simply end, with an email a week before.

Can two siblings share one account?

No, and not because of a policy — the whole course adapts to one person's errors. Two students on one login get a plan built from both their mistakes, which is worse than useless for each of them. A second account is better value than a shared one.

Do you offer school or group pricing?

Yes, from five seats upward, with a teacher view of who has done what. Tell us the size of the group and we will send real numbers rather than a brochure.

What if we need to stop for a while?

A monthly plan can be paused for up to three months from the account page and resumed with nothing lost. For the longer plans, email us and we will extend the end date by however long you were away.

Pick a length and start tonight.

Every plan opens the whole course on the first day, and the first fifteen are refundable in full. If you would rather look before you decide, the diagnostic is free — 27 questions, about 35 minutes, no card.

This one is a guarantee, because there are no conditions on it.

100% back, within 15 days Any plan. Any reason, or none. Refunded to the original payment method.

AskFrom your account page, or reply to any email we have sent you. One line is enough — "please refund" does it.
2
We confirm the same working dayA human reads it. You will not be sent a form, a survey, or an offer of two free months instead.

The money moves in 5–10 daysProcessed immediately at our end; the delay after that belongs to your bank or card issuer.
04

The terms, in full

All of them. There is no longer version of this.

Who it coversEvery plan — monthly, 3, 6 and 12 months — on a first purchase. One refund per account, which is the only restriction on it.
The windowFifteen calendar days from the date of your first payment, not from when you first signed in. If day fifteen falls on a weekend or a holiday, we take the next working day.
How muchThe full amount paid, including any tax we charged. Not pro-rated, and not reduced by how much of the course you used. Finishing the entire thing in a fortnight and then asking for a refund is within the terms.
What we needYour account email and one sentence asking. Not a reason, not a complaint, not a phone call. If you want to tell us what was wrong we will read it carefully, but it is not the price of the refund.
When it arrivesWe process it the same working day you ask. Cards typically show it in five to ten working days; a bank transfer can take a little longer. That part is out of our hands and we will tell you the date we sent it.
What happens to the accountAccess ends when the refund is processed. Your work is kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, then deleted — and you can ask us to delete it immediately instead.
RenewalsThe fifteen days attach to the first payment. A monthly plan that has renewed is outside this window, but can be cancelled at any time and will not be charged again — and we do not charge for a month you have not started.
After fifteen daysThe refund window has closed, but you are not stuck: a monthly plan cancels in two clicks, and for a longer plan, write to us. If something has genuinely gone wrong at our end we will make it right, window or no window.
Why we can afford to make it this simple
A refund policy with conditions is a marketing device. "Money back if you complete 90% of modules within 30 days" is written to be unclaimable, and everyone involved knows it. We would rather lose the occasional fee than put a sentence like that on a page a parent is reading.
Fifteen days is long enough to actually know. Two weekends and ten evenings is plenty to sit the diagnostic, work through a few sections, and see whether the explanations are written the way you need them written. If it is not for you, that will be obvious well inside the window.
It is separate from the Completion Standard, deliberately. This is the unconditional one, for deciding the course is not for you. The Completion Standard is the conditional one, for having done the whole thing and not seen the score move. Mixing them would let us describe a conditional promise with an unconditional word, which is exactly the trick we are trying not to play.
We would rather you left than stayed stuck. A student working through a course that does not suit them is not revenue, it is a bad outcome with a payment attached. If that is what is happening, the refund is the right answer and we will say so.
05

Questions about refunds

Including the awkward ones.

Do I need to have used the course?

No. Buy it, never sign in, ask on day fourteen — full refund. Equally, use every feature every day for a fortnight and then ask — also a full refund. Usage is not a condition, and we do not look at it.

Will you try to keep me?

We will ask, once, whether there is something we could fix — because sometimes the answer is a setting or a page nobody found, and we would like to know. Then we process it either way, in the same message. No retention calls, no discount offers, no delay.

What if I bought the 12-month plan?

Same fifteen days, same full amount — $228 back, not a pro-rated share of it. The longer plans are where an unconditional window matters most, and narrowing it for them would make the promise meaningless exactly where the money is.

Can I get a refund and come back later?

Yes, and plenty of families do — a refund in October and a purchase in February is a perfectly normal pattern. The fifteen-day window is once per account, so a second purchase does not carry another one, and we will say that clearly at the point of sale rather than afterwards.

What about school or group purchases?

The same fifteen days apply from the invoice date, for the whole order or any part of it. Ask us and we will confirm it in writing on the quote, before anyone raises a purchase order.

Is this the only refund you ever give?

No. The window is the part we commit to in writing. Outside it we still read every message: a duplicate charge, a plan bought twice, a student who could not use what they paid for — those get sorted out, and the policy is not a reason to stop listening.
