Talk to other people sitting this test

A place to compare notes, ask what a question was really testing, and say in public whether this course was worth the money.

Reader reviews of the course, and where SAT students talk to each other.

Reviews

There are none here yet, and there will not be invented ones. This page launched with the site; the first reviews on it will be from people who paid for the course and chose to write one. If you are reading this early and that bothers you, the fifteen-day refund is the honest version of a testimonial — try it and decide for yourself.

Written one and want it here? Send it to hello@calireview.com. We will publish it with your first name and the month, good or bad, and we will not edit the substance. The only ones we will not publish are ones we cannot tie to an account.

Where the conversation happens

The members’ community lives inside the course: a feed that students who are signed in can read, post to and reply to. It is not open to the public. The places where students sitting this exam talk in public are these, and for a question about the exam they are better than anything we would ship:

  • r/SAT on Reddit — the largest of them, and the fastest place to get a question looked at by someone who sat the same form.
  • College Confidential — slower, older, and better on admissions questions than on test mechanics.
  • Your own school’s counseling office — the only one of these that knows your transcript, and the most under-used.

We read the first of those. If something we have written is wrong and you say so there, we would rather hear it than not.

If you think something on this site is wrong

Tell us and we will fix it in public. Every page carries the date it was last reviewed, and a correction changes that date, which is the point of having it. Exam formats change, concordances are reissued, and testing policies move every year — a prep site that never corrects anything is not accurate, it is unmaintained.

  • A factual error — a number, a format detail, a rule. Email it with the page and we will check it against the published specification and correct or explain within a week.
  • A disagreement about method — welcome, and more interesting. We will argue back, and if you are right we will rewrite the page and say that we did.
  • A billing problem — that is not a community question. Contact us and it gets handled directly.
